This agreement is between The Vellora Method, ABN 87 205 687 759 ("The Vellora Method", "we", "us") and the person enrolling in the training ("you", "the student"). By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

2.1 Your place is confirmed once your deposit or full payment is received.
2.2 If you are paying by instalments or deposit, the full balance must be paid before the training begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Course access and certification may be withheld until all payments are complete.
3. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
3.1 Deposits are non refundable.
3.2 If you have paid in full and cancel more than 60 days before the training, you will receive a 90% refund.
3.3 If you cancel between 15 and 60 days before the training, you will receive a 50% refund.
3.4 Cancellations made 14 days or less before the training are not refundable.

3.6 If you do not attend without notice, your place is forfeited and no refund, credit or transfer is offered.
3.7 If The Vellora Method needs to cancel or reschedule a training, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to another date. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs, so we recommend booking flexible travel.
3.8 Nothing in this agreement limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Intellectual property
4.1 The Vellora Method buccal sequence, techniques, teaching structure and system ("the Method"), together with the name, branding, workbook, videos, audio, images and all other Materials, are the intellectual property of The Vellora Method and Bailey Womack.
4.2 Completing the training gives you a personal, non transferable licence to use the techniques you have learned to treat your own clients in your own practice.
4.3 This licence does not give you ownership of any part of the Method or the Materials.
5. No teaching, training or course creation
5.1 The training is for your use as a practitioner only. You agree that you will not, during or after the training:
a) teach, train, mentor or demonstrate the Method, its sequence or any substantial part of it to other practitioners, whether paid or unpaid
b) use the training, sequence or Materials to create, develop or deliver your own course, workshop, masterclass, online program, certification or mentoring program in buccal or facial massage
c) rename, rebrand or present the Method or its sequence, in full or with minor changes, as your own method or system
d) copy, record, photograph, film, reproduce, share, sell or distribute any of the Materials, including the workbook, videos and audio
e) share your online course login or give anyone else access to the Materials
5.2 Teaching the Method is only possible through a written educator licence agreement with The Vellora Method. If you are interested in teaching in the future, please contact us.
5.3 If you breach this clause, The Vellora Method may revoke your licence and certificate, remove your access to the online course and Materials, and take further action to protect its intellectual property, which may include seeking damages or an injunction.
5.4 This clause continues to apply after the training ends.
6. Use of The Vellora Method name and certificate
6.1 You may state that you are "trained in The Vellora Method" when promoting your services, as long as your training is current and your certificate has not been revoked.
6.2 You may not use The Vellora Method logo or branding, or describe yourself as a Vellora Method educator, partner or affiliate, without our written permission.
6.3 You must not imply that The Vellora Method endorses or is responsible for your business, treatments or results.
7. Scope of practice, insurance and safe practice
7.1 You are responsible for ensuring you are qualified, insured and legally permitted to offer buccal massage in your location, including holding appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
7.2 You agree to follow the hygiene, safety and contraindication guidelines taught in the training, to screen every client before treatment, and to refer clients to a medical or dental professional where appropriate.
7.3 You must obtain informed consent from each client before performing intraoral work.
7.4 You must not make medical or therapeutic claims about buccal massage that cannot be supported by evidence.
7.5 The Vellora Method is not responsible for treatments you perform after the training, or for any outcome, injury, complaint or claim arising from your practice.
8. Your health during the training
8.1 The training involves receiving and giving intraoral and facial treatment. Before the training, you agree to tell us of any health condition, recent dental work, injury, pregnancy or other factor that may affect your ability to give or receive treatment safely.
8.2 Please do not attend if you are unwell or have a contagious illness, cold sore or oral infection. Contact us before the training begins and we will discuss a credit toward a future date.
8.3 You participate in the hands on parts of the training at your own risk, and may choose not to receive a treatment at any time.
9. Attendance and conduct
9.1 The training begins promptly. If you arrive late, leave early or miss part of the training, no partial refund applies, and a certificate is only issued once the full training is completed.
9.2 You agree to treat fellow students, models, educators and the venue with respect, and to follow reasonable instructions given during the training.
9.3 The Vellora Method may remove a student whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate, without a refund.
10. Photos and video
10.1 Photos and video may be taken during the training for The Vellora Method's marketing and education, and to give students content for their own social media.
10.2 If you do not want to appear in The Vellora Method's marketing, please tell us before the training begins.
10.3 You may use photos and videos provided to you by The Vellora Method to promote your own services, but you may not use them to promote a course or training of your own.
11. Confidentiality
11.1 Information shared during the training by other students, models or clients, including health information, must be kept confidential.
11.2 The Materials are confidential and provided for your personal use only.

13.2 This agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia.
13.3 If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement still applies.
